Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account information: the email you use to sign up, and the quiz results you choose to save (your color season, shape, vibes, and occasions).
• Saved items: the products you heart and save to your closet.
• Browser storage: if you use the site without signing in, we store your saved items and quiz results locally in your browser. Nothing is sent to us until you create an account.
• Usage: standard server logs (IP, user agent, requested page) for security and debugging.

How we use it

• To show you a personalized closet based on your season + shape.
• To email you when something in your saved closet goes on sale, if you've signed up.
• To occasionally email you about new pieces in your season.
• To improve the curation logic over time.

We never sell your data. Ever.

Affiliate tracking

When you click through a product, you're sent to the retailer through one of our affiliate networks (ShopMy, Mavely, or Amazon). Those networks use cookies to attribute the sale to us. We don't receive any of your purchase or payment data from them, only the aggregate that a commission was earned.

Third parties we use

• Supabase — account and database hosting
• Vercel — site hosting
• Anthropic Claude — product classification (we send product titles + descriptions, never your data)
• ShopMy, Mavely, Amazon — affiliate tracking
• Kit — email delivery for alerts and digests

Your rights

You can delete your account at any time by emailing hello@colorthecloset.com with the subject line “Delete my account.” We remove your row from the users table and all linked saved items. This can't be undone.
